OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP
(Training-Focused, In-Person)

About the Internship
Our team is seeking a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Operations & Administration Intern to support the day-to-day operations of Chil Studios.
This internship is designed for current students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals interested in business operations, hospitality, event management, studio management, customer service, or entrepreneurship. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting a working creative studio while learning how bookings, client experiences, scheduling, and operational systems come together behind the scenes.
Throughout the program, you'll work directly with our leadership team while receiving mentorship, training, and real-world exposure to studio operations, client management, and small business administration.
You'll play an active role in supporting our studio, assisting with bookings, coordinating schedules, maintaining operational systems, and helping create a seamless experience for renters and clients.
What You'll Do (with Support & Mentorship)
Booking & Client Coordination
Respond to studio inquiries and assist with booking confirmations.
Support client communication throughout the booking process.
Help collect reviews and improve the renter experience.
Calendar & Administrative Support
Maintain studio schedules, booking calendars, and operational workflows.
Track bookings, tasks, and administrative projects using internal systems.
Assist with record keeping and process organization.
Studio Operations
Help manage inventory, equipment add-ons, and studio supplies.
Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and readiness.
Support day-to-day operational needs and problem-solving.
On-Site Support
Assist with renter check-ins and studio bookings during office hours.
Help ensure a smooth, professional experience for all clients.
Observe and learn how operational challenges are addressed and resolved.

Additional Opportunity:
You'll have the opportunity to support studio bookings outside of regular business hours and earn $15 per hour for this work. These booking support shifts are entirely optional, paid separately, and are not included as part of the internship stipend.

Internship Structure & Growth Path
Onboarding Week
If selected, you'll begin with a 5-day onboarding and training period focused on:
Learning our tools, systems, and workflows.
Understanding studio operations and client experience standards.
Getting to know the team and communication processes.
Setting learning goals and expectations for the internship.
This onboarding period is part of the internship program and follows the same stipend structure.
3-Month Internship
After onboarding, you'll move into the full internship phase:
Approximately 20 hours per week/ 40 hours per payroll cycle excluding any paid studio host shifts.
Ongoing operational support and hands-on learning.
Regular mentorship and performance feedback.
Exposure to studio operations, business systems, and client management.
Phase Two: Paid Operations Fellowship (Optional, Not Guaranteed)
Interns who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, initiative, and growth may be invited to continue into a second phase as a Paid Fellow or Contractor.
This paid opportunity provides additional responsibility, continued mentorship, and deeper involvement in studio operations and business administration.
