open walls is a community art show designed to give local artists, photographers, and creatives an accessible space to display and sell their work while connecting with atlanta’s creative community.

participating artists keep 100% of their art sales. fourofour does not collect a commission.

this guide covers the important details you’ll need to prepare your work and participate in the show.


artwork guidelines

each participating artist may display up to two (2) pieces.

artwork may be up to 12" x 18" per piece. artists are responsible for making sure submitted artwork is print-ready and meets the requirements provided by the print shop.

additional display and installation instructions will be shared with participating artists before the event.


artwork sales

artists determine the selling price of their own work and keep 100% of all sales.

chil studios does not collect a commission or process payments for artwork. artists are responsible for accepting payment directly from buyers and coordinating the sale of their work.

we recommend coming prepared with an easy way for guests to purchase your work, such as a qr code, payment app, website, or other payment method.


printing with vahiprint

our printing sponsor, vahiprint, will provide participating artists with a custom open walls code for printing.

printing is coordinated directly between the artist and vahiprint. chil studios will not collect artwork files, process print orders, or coordinate individual orders on behalf of artists.

all artwork being printed for the show must be submitted to vahiprint by october 2nd to allow enough time for production.



installation + display

chil studios will provide additional instructions regarding artwork drop-off, installation, display, and removal prior to the event.

please do not bring additional signage, display structures, tables, easels, or installation materials unless approved in advance.

  • we strongly encourage participating artists to attend. open walls is designed to showcase your work while giving you an opportunity to meet guests, connect with other creatives, and speak about your work.

  • drop-off details and deadlines will be provided to registered artists closer to the event.

  • artists are responsible for picking up any remaining artwork after the show. pickup instructions will be provided before the event.

  • final instructions for artwork removal during the show will be provided before the event so we can keep the exhibition intact throughout the evening.

  • the current limit is two pieces per artist. additional pieces may only be accepted if space becomes available and chil studios approves them in advance.

  • open walls welcomes work from artists, photographers, designers, illustrators, and other visual creatives. fourofour reserves the right to decline artwork that does not meet event guidelines or is not appropriate for display.

  • yes. photography and video may be captured during open walls for event documentation and promotional purposes.
